It’s nice that x conran: meet me in the metaverse


JULY 2022            
            In an immersive installation as a part of London Design Festival taking over The Conran Shop’s Chelsea store in London, Meet Me in the Metaverse reveals how the virtual realm is a world of limitless opportunities for designers. I partnered with It's Nice That and The Conran Shop to reimagine a design classic from The Conran Shop’s AW22 collection. Exploring how physical objects translate into the digital realm, I gave the Pirouette Coat stand a dance partner and took it for a spin. The animated piece is a dance in 4 acts, between the structural building blocks that come together to make the Pirouette Coat Stand, and the textural & organic artefacts that the coat stand is destined to interact with.
